Hot Vanilla and Mexican Hot Chocolate

Last winter I made this and it was AMAZING! But I didn't have vanilla so I subed with peppermint.
1 cup milk
2 pumps peppermint
Heat them up on the stove.
1 cup whip cream
1/2 cup chocolate syrup
1 tbsp cinnamon
Mix then together and stick in the freezer.
Pour milk into mug and take the mix out of the freezer and put it into mug.
Top it with whip cream and sprinkle with cinnamon and some how you end up with a Mexican hot chocolate when you sub peppermint for vanilla.

I would post the link to this but it has a suspicious link alert so I wont be posting the link.

Today, I ended up doing lots of extra cleaning around the house.
I used a couple of the great ideas on Pintrest and wow was I surprised.
Who knew so many uses for vinegar. I cleaned my window sills, my ceiling fan and my front load washing machine today. All with the exact same cleaning solution.  1 cup of water with 1/4 cup of vinegar in a spray bottle. My window sills look brand spanking new. I am shocked. We all know what dirty window sills look like I don't need to post that. But my after is so great looking. Could not be happier.
My washing machine has smelled terrible almost from day one, mainly because we remodeled the inside of the house and we put all kinds of chemicals that were are rags in the brand new washing machine. Did a load of 1 cup of vinegar in an hour load and then cleaned the door and seal around the outside. Smells 100% better. Then I used the pillow case trick around the ceiling fan, we have a Siberian husky and let me tell you in the warmer months her hair is everywhere. Including the fan. But my spray bottle mixture in the pillowcase slid it on the blade and it took about 5 min to clean the whole. Most the time it would have taken me 30 min to clean the fan and then clean the floors and anything else it landed on. It was so great. So here are the pins where I got my ideas. And this is what my window sills look like after.

Ice Cream Cake

So it is hot as can be here. So I wanted to make something for dessert for my family. My family loves ice cream, and cake. So what better thing to make than an ice cream cake. However, if you have ever looked at a recipe for ice cream cake. It sounds like you need to move the speed of light so nothing melts and then make this perfect concoction of amazingness that looks so beautiful. However, I remembered this PIN that said super easy ice cream cake. Well, I tried it and it was. It took me less than 10 min to make the whole thing, and it tasted great. Here is the disclaimer you have to like ice cream sandwiches. (My little sister does not) but the rest of the family did. So here is the link if you ever want to do this yourself. Buy at least 18 ice cream sandwiches (it lasts for at least 3 days, and it looks more like a cake too.) I only needed one tub of cool whip, and one thing of Oreo's. So Good, Hope you can make it and enjoy it too!

and Here is my finished project. So pretty!

Nail Polish Color Pin

This was my very first pin that I tried out. But I had to use a lot of eye shadow and I mean a lot of it (I added more shadow to the mix then what is shown in the pictures). I liked the colors but I did have to put six coats on so it would not be transparent. It did chip quickly even with a top coat. But it was a lot of fun! I did this with the little girl I was babysitting and we had fun making our very own nail polish color. -LITTLE SISTER

Hello Internet World

Hello Internet World. We are sisters who have found Pintrest to be super useful in our family. I have two small girls who love just about anything involving some kind of art project, which their aunt my younger sister helps them with. I have done a ton of recipes from Pintrest. From Drinks (I am a former bartender turned stay-at-home, but still love to have a good drink.) to desserts, dinners, lunches and breakfast. We decided we wanted people to know how well some of these actually turn out before they try them themselves. Some directions have been great and turned out beautifully. Others well they could use some tweaks. We thought we would share our Pintrest Journey's with all of you. Hope you Enjoy! If I am posting you will see a-BIG SISTER

Hey there I am the Little Sister and I love Pintrest well I am addicted to it like many others that I know one of them being my Big Sister :)  I have a board on my Pintrest that says Tried It! I don't want to just pin something and not try it out because I did do that for a couple of months after having it, but boy was I missing out! I love to do art projects for myself and my nieces. Pintrest has helped to do new and fun art projects. I love baking so I am always happy to try something sweet. If it's me posting you will see-LITTLE SISTER
